American Health Training Center - Accreditation

American Health Training Center (AHTC) offers continuing education credits in ACLS, PALS, BLS CPR and layperson CPR certification and recertification which is jointly provided by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) and American Health Training Center.

Target Audience: Our certified courses have been designed to meet the educational needs of health care providers involved in the care of patients in cardiac arrest, bradycardia and tachycardia including pediatric emergencies.

Joint Accreditation Statement

Jointly Accredited ProviderIn support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and National Health Care Provider Solutions. Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

OnCourse Learning has been honored by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with Premier Status and is the only for-profit entity to ever receive the Accreditation Premier Program Award. The ANCC stated: "The most obvious example of of Nursing Spectrum CE's status as a model of learning excellence comes from the 250 healthcare organizations and systems that have contracted for access to Nursing Spectrum CE's educational activities for their nurses through CE Direct. Some organizations have been in this relationship for seven years or more, and the program has a 95% renewal rate."

OnCourse Learning was also cited by ANCC for having quality courses and strong leadership.

OnCourse Learning's continuing education (CE) contact hours are generally accepted by most professional nursing organizations and state boards of nursing. OnCourse Learning has made substantial efforts to obtain appropriate providerships for CE offerings. However, OnCourse Learning does not warrant that all professional organizations or licensing authorities will accept its CE contact hours. If in doubt, nurses are advised to contact their professional organizations or licensing authorities to confirm their acceptance of these contact hours.

OnCourse Learning is also an approved provider by the Florida Board of Nursing, the District of Columbia Board of Nursing, New Jersey Board of Nursing, New York State Board of Nursing and the South Carolina Board of Nursing (provider # 50-1489). OnCourse Learning's continuing education courses are accepted by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Relias LLC is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider # CEP13791.
